_________________________________________________________________________________________ Programs provided: Alanon, Girl Scouts, Co-ed Scouts (Special Troop which specializes in American Indian [preferred term] dance and culture, Amityville Ecumenical Ministry (food, employment, some limited financial aid, counseling to local poor in conjunction with RC, Methodist and Lutheran churches).
Services
provided: Worship
at three nursing homes, every week Hospital
visitation at Brunswick Hospital Center, South Oaks Hospital, and other
neighboring institutions.
Space provided for: Our most exciting ministry is our partnership with the Diocese of Northern Malawi in East Africa. In addition to our monthly financial pledge, we are challenging the parish to build a new rectory for Saint Veronica's Church in Malawi. We have promised to complete all funding prior to Easter 2005.

actually Route 110, which runs north and south, from Huntington to Amityville.
There are exits for the Village from the LIE, Southern State, and Northern
State. The church is in the center of the Village, on the east side of
the road, just opposite the Triangle, which is a typical Green with gazebo,
flag, clock, etc. We are midway between Merrick Road (Montauk Highway)
and Sunrise Highway (Route 27).
